2016 Highlights // Toronto Photographer // CopperRed Photography
Another year of this journey capturing love stories is over and what a year it has been.
I could not end this year without saying a huge thank you to all of you who trusted CopperRed Photography with capturing your most precious memories. I have had an absolute blast being a part of your love stories and family journey's.
My photography allows me to connect with so many awesome families in Toronto as well as travel to some pretty incredible locations around the world.
I was honoured to photograph each of your stories and create art with your memories.
#1 My Amsterdam Wedding!
Traveling to the Netherlands for work was so much fun. I would go back to that beautiful city in a heart beat.
#2 Being Published!
This was a dream come true and something I had been aspiring to for a long time.
Definitely a tick off of my bucket list.
I hope it was the first of many photography sessions to be featured on great wedding sites.
#3 Moody Sunrise Maternity Session
I ran a campaign to find a willing, expectant mother to venture out to this beautiful location at the break of dawn and it was 100% worth it.
I found a new top spot for shoots and created one of my favourite maternity photos of my career thus far.
#4 Family Photos
This is always a highlight of my year. I only ask this of my husband once a year and this year was no exception. As I am usually on the other side of the camera I miss out of beautiful images of my children with me in them too.
We came across Inna and fell in love with her work. These photographs are priceless to me.
#5 21 Newborn Babies!
That's right. This year I photographed 21 newborn baby's and loved every moment of it.
I got to snuggle and cuddle and capture these incredibly precious baby's before they were even two weeks old!
#6 UK Trip Home
My final summer long vacation in the UK.
I had the best summer at home visiting friends and family and capturing new family photos to update the very much outdated albums for my own parents.
#7 Flour Party
My very first Flour Party before the Cake Smash and epic Splash After Smash.
This was a unique concept for a photography Cake Smash Session because Mr Jude's mummy is a chef!
#8 Jumping in Lake Ontario
This has to go into my highlights reel.
Jordan & Johnny were so much fun. They were even up for jumping into Lake Ontario in a Canadian Fall. Bring on their 2017 wedding.
#9 Capturing Love
I love love. Photographing weddings just fuels my love of love more.
Sean & Carol's wedding at The Doctor's House in Vaughan was just picturesque.
I am excited for all the weddings I get to be a part of in 2017.
#10 Biggest Family Shoot Ever!
So 2016 saw me tackle the largest family shoot to date and what fun it was.
Five families and one dog.
A great challenge but with that came immense satisfaction.
Who knows how crazy 2017 will get but I am definitely excited for it.
So as I look back I can do nothing but smile. Each photo I look back at holds memories and stories, laughter and tears. I genuinely connect with the families I work with, I learn their story and throw myself in 100%.
If you are looking to capture your love story in 2017 whether that be engagement, wedding family or the arrival of a new baby please get in touch. I would be honoured to document your journey.
