Newborn Benjamin Nailed His In-Home Photography Shoot || CopperRed
Of course I may be a little biased as I got to meet and cuddle with this little gent but how super adorable is baby benjamin?!
This job officially never gets old!
From every finger to every toe we document it all. Photographing the tiny little features that make you, you.
Cute posing to epic basket setups, its all aimed at capturing timeless, elegant fine art for you to hang proudly on your walls for years to come.
Lately I am finding that I am favouring a lot of the black and white edits. It's natural and more relaxed posing. It gives a very authentic feel and candid photo of the baby.
Of course the classic's have to be done too. Don't you just want to squish all the baby cuteness in this shot!
Often the baby boys have fewer props, it's easy to accessorize the girls with headbands etc. So you have to become extra creative for the boy newborn sessions. I LOVE wooden boxes!
My in-home newborn photography is close to my heart. I often look around to open up a studio but always tend to come back to the benefits that come with entering a family's home to capture their new addition. Who knows maybe one day soon I'll be able to offer both in-home or studio based newborn sessions in Toronto GTA.
Most definitely another favourite of mine. Curling them up is adorable and Benjamin stayed put just perfectly for me to capture this shot.
The bum up pose can be quite the challenge to get just right. I find myself fiddling around with fingers and toes to get it just so. When it all comes together isn't it absolutely worth the work?! I think so.
The wraps and baskets tend to happen towards the end of my in-home shoots as sometimes we have tapped out on the super sleepy stage. The wraps help us to cling onto an extra few minutes of peaceful photography.
So if you are pregnant and live in the Toronto GTA lets chat about capturing some incredible fine art photographs of your baby once they arrive. The sessions happen in the comfort of your own home and there is absolutely nothing for you to prepare. Perfect situation right? Yup!
In the meantime enjoy the cuteness that is baby Benjamin!
