Toronto & GTA Videographer / Cinematographer Recommendations || CopperRed Photography
You’ve got your photographer all booked up and now you’re on the hunt for a killer videographer/cinematographer. That’s so freaking exciting!
I love wedding videos and my brides often ask for my recommendations for videographers so it’s about time I put together this list and put it out there to the world! (Quick side note: No one in this list knows that they are in this list lol)
Let me share with you my top picks in the GTA!
Okay so first things first you might be a little confused about the two terms Videographer and Cinematographer so I want to break it down for you.
VIDEOGRAPHER - So this is a little more traditional and old school. It’s the term used for anyone capturing an event. Not so much artistic input. Imagine the wedding videos from your parents era, or even 10 years ago and typically they’ll be what a videographer will produce.
CINEMATOGRAPHER - This is a newer approach for wedding documentation. It brings the cinematic nature and film like production to your wedding day. Think of it as the artistic way to shoot video. There are often highlight reels from the day, drones used and lots of other gadgets that produce gorgeous films.
If you want to get a full explanation you can check out this short youtube video that breaks them down nice and simple.
Now that we have that sorted I am hoping you are totally on board with booking up a CINEMATOGRAPHER.
If you’ve booked up your wedding photography with myself of another wedding photographer of similar style I can only assume that you appreciate the art of photography and have a desire to have your day captured in an artistic way. This is why I am assuming you’ve jumped on the CINEMATOGRAPHY band wagon with me lol.
Let’s get to it.
Here is my list of absolute favourite wedding cinematographers in Toronto and the GTA. It’s in no particular order as I find it way too difficult to pick a number one myself. Just click on the name to go straight to their website. Nice and easy peasy.
Keep in mind that cinematography, just like photography is a real investment and something to be valued. These two elements together create something that surpasses your wedding day, that lives on forever. They are the only tangible things left after that very precious day for you to enjoy, for you to share and keep as treasured family heirlooms.
