Lifestyle Newborn Photography Session Toronto || Introducing Esmé

Esmé is one of my extra special newborn baby sessions as she arrived during the crazy COVID pandemic. It was such an honour to be responsible for capturing these photos of her as such a new baby for her parents to share with all the eagerly awaiting grandparents and extended family stuck abroad unable to make the journey over to meet her just yet.

Lifestyle newborn sessions are all about telling a story and capturing as much meaning and connection as possible in every photo. This is why these photo shoots are shot in the comfort of your own home, with all your treasured possessions and all the practical things you might need at hand to care for your new baby too.

As a lifestyle photographer I like to imagine that years down the road these photos I take will hold more than a gorgeous photo of your new baby, maybe a special family heirloom is hanging on the wall behind or you’ve moved home once or twice since and you can show your kiddo their old room and all the love and attention you put into decorating it for their arrival.

My newborn photo shoots are curated to allow for lots of cuddles, love and connection, and of course some extra feeds and diaper changes when needed. I want you to be relaxed and enjoy every second because that’s exactly how I get to capture such organic and raw emotions that result in photos you and your family adore.
