You know that feeling you get when you’ve been searching for something you really really want and it seems like you’ll never find it, and then you do and you want to phone up everyone and share your good news? Well that’s how I feel as I write this blog. I feel like I discovered a secret treasure and need to tell the world. To sum it up in one statement, I never thought I could love a diaper bag as much as I love this one!
If you’ve followed me and my tribe of mini humans for a while you’ll know that we made the awesome choice to go vegan back in January of 2020 and have never looked back. Switching to a vegan lifestyle is just that, a new lifestyle, not just a diet change and so it takes a lot of exploration and testing to discover new things you love.
As much as possible we always look to make our day to day products vegan. From our bath bubbles to our furniture and clothing we do our very best and yes that includes baby items like our diaper bag!
Let me tell you just what makes this diaper bag a one of a kind and my hands down favourite ever…
Pre vegan life I LOVED leather products because of their style and feel and so naturally I wanted to have a leather diaper bag with the news we were going to be welcoming baby number 4 to the Maunder tribe. Of course that’s not possible when you’re trying to live out a vegan life until I came across the Liam diaper bag by Fox & Sparrow Co!
I simply adore this bag and here’s why you will too…
#1- It’s Vegan!
Okay, so maybe I’m pointing out the obvious here after my first couple of statements but I thought it deserved another mention. This gorgeous diaper bag is made out of smooth vegan leather and so you can purchase it with the knowledge that you are doing your part to help the planet and animals. Wahoo!
Always good to get the extra good feels with a purchase and know that you’re not having to compromise your lifestyle choice.

This diaper bag comes with the most practical and beautiful accessories without extra fees! Let me give you the lowdown on what you get.

I love that all the accessories also come in the exact same smooth vegan leather as the Liam bag itself. Maybe it’s the photographer and creative side of me that cares so much about the aesthetics but having them match beautifully just makes my heart happy lol.
The insulated bottle holder is perfectly designed because it has a zip up top rather than just wrapping around the body of the bottle. I feel like it’s been designed by a mum because after kiddos you realize how much you need these things, especially here in Canada with such hot summers and cold winters. Keeping baby milk correctly or other drinks for that matter can be a nightmare. So thank you Fox & Sparrow Co for including this with the bag.
The clutch might be my favourite accessory (before we talk about the straps). Why? Because this Liam bag is the large one (you can order a mini size too) and I will be rooting through it to find my essentials all day without this addition. I pop all my important items in this so I can just pull it out easily in a rush, and because it is beautiful I don’t get embarrassed pulling it out in the store either.
Change mats should come with every diaper bag but that’s not always the case and they definitely don’t come as soft or as padded as this one. We 2nd, 3rd or 4th time mumma’s know how hard those public change tables are and so a nice thick change pad that’s also easy to wipe down and clean is worth its weight in gold.
Now onto my favourite aspect of this Liam diaper bag, you ready?…
#3 - Straps galore!
If you don’t know I am now a mumma of 4 mini humans and so over the last 8 years I’ve gone through my fair share of diaper bags and surprisingly this is a first for me.
With each diaper bag I owned I learnt something. My 1st diaper bag had the shoulder strap setup and I soon learnt this wasn’t my favourite as I wanted my hands to be free and when I bent down I’d have to use one hand to push the bag back as it swung down. So when I brought my 2nd diaper bag we went straight for the backpack style, this was my favourite method but sometimes when we were shopping I wish I didn’t have to carry it around. My stroller basket was always full. My 1st diaper bag with the shoulder strap could go over the handle bar of the stroller but this backpack one couldn’t. So with each diaper bag there were pros and cons. I always wished I could find a bag that did them all.
This one does!
The Liam bag by Fox and Sparrow Co is so well thought out that they designed it with hoops and multiple strap choices to cover all the variables. It’s no hassle to switch them out either, it simply takes 10 seconds to click your desired straps on. This also works great as I love the backpack style but my hubbie would rather use the shoulder strap and when I’m shopping I quickly pop on the stroller clips to attach the diaper bag to either the shopping cart or stroller. Everyone’s happy.
#4 - Epic Space
Oh boy this mumma needed a big diaper bag and this Liam bag delivers in abundance. With 4 mini humans the number of things I need to leave my house is insane. We have our new addition (Hadley) who needs everything, diapers, wipes, cream, full outfits, changing pad, pacifiers, carrying wrap (I use the Konny Baby Carrier), muslins and more. Then we have our 2 year old (Dylan) who we are currently potty training, so he needs outfits by the dozen, and then there’s the 5 and 8 year olds (Joel & Eli) who need water bottles and snacks. Of course I then need my own items like wallet, phone, keys, sometimes ipad or laptop, nursing pads, etc etc etc lol.
So when I say I needed a big bag I really do. Opting for the large size of the Liam diaper bag was therefore a no brainer. I checked out the sizing on the website and it said 14.5” x 10” x 16” but you don’t really know quite what that’ll look like in real life. Well let me tell you, it’s massive. So much space I can fit everything I need for all 4 kiddos and myself. So if you are in the same boat I promise you this bag is big enough for your needs.
No only is it big but its clever. There are two insulated pockets on the inside at either end, an internal zip section and two more open top pockets on the inside front. There is a front external zipped pouch and another zipped pocket on the back. Then on either end of the bag on the outside there are pockets, one of which has a slit opening so you can pop your wipes packet in there and access them easily!
So just in case you didn’t pick up on my excitement and enthusiasm about this diaper bag from those 4 points above I want to simply say that it has made my day to day mom life so much faster, easier and comfier. I can keep everything I need for all my kiddos in one spot to grab and go whenever we need. I love that I still get to enjoy a stylish look and not compromise on our vegan lifestyle. I love that it’s a diaper bag that works for myself and my husband. I love that I can flip between the comfy backpack style and stroller clips when I’m out shopping or running errands and my husband gets to still rock his favourite shoulder strap vibe.
If I could have sat down and designed my dream bag that’s crazy practical and still gorgeous this is what would’ve been the end product.
