I entered baby Carmel's home on a dull rainy October day in the heart of Midtown Toronto and encountered the warmest welcome from this beautiful family. It was Thanksgiving and what better day to capture some gorgeous lifestyle newborn photos.

Little Carmel is the newest addition to the family and what a beautiful baby girl she is. I knew this shoot was going to be super fun and enjoyable.

Alma is thoroughly enjoying the role of big sister and was more than happy to cover Carmel with love. Her little sister absolutely loved all the cuddles and kisses.

Despite the gloomy rain outside the home was filled with love and laughter and cuddling up on the sofa for some quiet time as a family was perfect. 

Of course we had to capture cuddles with all the family. It's important for me to capture the various relationships and connections that make up each family and that reflect all the love within it.

What an incredible way to spend my Thanksgiving morning. So thankful for new life, for families full of love and for my job that enables me to encounter it all.
