You are desperate to have beautiful photographs taken of your growing family but are put off by having to take your very precious new gift out into the less than favourable road conditions to get to someone’s studio.

Lifestyle newborn photography is very unique in the world of newborn baby photography in that it looks to authentically document and capture your family through real life. One of the greatest treasures with lifestyle newborn photos is that in twenty or thirty years from now you will never regret these images. They are not a trend of fad they are a true documentation of your baby as well as your family.

With your home as the backdrop there are many more memories and untold stories held within each photograph. Running the session in your home allows us to incorporate even the most unlikely items into the shot such as great granny’s rocking chair, aunty’s artwork or your furry family member. It’s all fair game with in-home lifestyle photography.

In case you are wondering how long these sessions run for you’ll be pleasantly surprised that we keep it around 1 hour. Short, sweet and everything we need captured in that time. After having two little ones of my own and with number 3 on route this January I am aware that one of the toughest things to do post birth is get all dressed up and spend hours and hours in a photo shoot.

I very much desire the moments to be captured in a beautiful way but would love for it to be as hassle free as possible. Lifestyle sessions give you exactly that freedom. Dependant on what you want out of your shoot we can include your everyday lives too, like giving baby a bath, having a coffee with your partner or snuggling up on the sofa all together. Furry family members are all welcome with CopperRed Photography. I LOVE dogs and cats too lol! So lets include all your family, four legged friends as well. Some of my favourite shots from my lifestyle sessions include the family pet because I know that they are cherished just like a family member. They were the child before the child.
