One of my besties had a baby and so of course I loved photographing his lifestyle newborn session.
Mr Brandon is baby boy number 3 for Roger and Rebecca and so our motherhoods kinda reflect each other which is quite funny as friends. Boy moms for life lol.
I can promise you that the cuteness does not wear off with baby boy number 3, especially when his brothers are totally in love with him. I can’t help but imagine these brothers in 20 years time as thick as thieves out having fun together. The bond and friendship will be priceless. Maybe they’'ll even look back on these photos once in a while and see just where the journey began. That’s the beauty of my photography. I get to gift people a freeze frame of their life, of a memory, a moment.
One of my favourite things to do within the in-home lifestyle newborn shoot is capture everyone. We have the chance to capture all of your kiddos and connections. My newborn sessions are always focused on that and so if baby has older siblings we get the whole gang involved. Let’s be honest though, toddlers and young kids tap out pretty quick but that’s another gem of your in-home photo shoot, they can head off and play with their toys, go get a snack from the kitchen or play in the garden for 10.
There are so many reasons I champion the in-home newborn sessions and this is for sure one of them. Everyone’s more comfortable and at ease at home. Plus who wants to travel with a new baby and a car full of kids with snacks and diaper bags and oh the stress I can feel it already and the shoot hasn’t even begun lol. So for my photography business it’ll only ever be in-home photo shoots.
